One-to-one
3-hr lessons at our
workshop in South-Western Sydney $100 each.
You can
attend the lessons in any order, though the Lesson #1 is recommended for
new starters.
Or you can
attend only one lesson of your choice.
No equipment
is required as you will use our machines (T7 & T8) and knives, yet you
are welcome to bring your own slow rotary grinder, if you wish to learn on
your machine and own T3 or T4 that we do not have in our workshop.
You can bring
with you blades that you would like to sharpen, and we will show you how to
sharpen them correctly.
We will teach you everything you need to know to sharpen professionally.
The training
is mostly hands-on, and we explain every technique, holding nothing back.
You will
learn the tips and techniques that no one publishes and that would take you
years to acquire by yourself.
We will share
with you secrets that are not available in the public domain.
With our
lessons you will by-pass months of heartache and dozens of ruined knives trying
to learn yourself.
We will
answer any questions you may have about sharpening, even unrelated to the
current lesson.
You will walk
away with the most efficient way to sharpen a wide range of blades, the
skills that are yours for life.
Completing
all lessons sets a good foundation to start your own sharpening business in
your area.
We are always
available for advice and guidance after the lessons, and you will never be
alone should any questions or concerns arise.
Certificate
of Attendance in your name is provided.
Speaking of
knife sharpening, Tormek is not an ideal tool, but it is a
robust machine coming with a potential for precision, just requires right approach to materialise this potential - we
